BEAUTIFUL BRESKENS
The fishing village of Breskens is the maritime seaside resort in West Zeelandic Flanders .
In "Bresjes", you get a taste of life at sea. There is plenty to see and do. The arrival and departure of large seagoing vessels on the Western Scheldt.
Fresh fish straight onto your plate. That makes your holiday here special.
CYCLE ROUTES
The dune house is surrounded by walking, cycling, and mountain bike routes.
One of those routes is the panorama route, where you pass the dune house .
You cycle or walk along the coastline, right through nature, and enjoy the view on both sides.
In 2019, Zeeuws-Vlaanderen was once again named a 5-star cycling province, which is the highest achievable level.
The quality of the cycling node system, the maintenance of the network, the accessibility of the route information, and the many cycling cafés along the routes are decisive factors in this regard.
STAND PAVILIONS
Wipe the sand off the table, order a drink, and take a look at the menu. The beach pavilion is casual in every season.
Sometimes with lounge beds, beanbags, and long tables.
The atmosphere is relaxed and no one is in a hurry here.
When the sun shines and there is little wind, a winter beach day is just as good for your mood as in the summer. Then it doesn't matter how cold it is. Getting a breath of fresh air by the sea is always a good idea.
And starting or ending a day like that at a relaxed beach bar is absolutely lovely.
Zeelandic Flanders has numerous beach pavilions.
The beautiful pavilions Beachouse 25 and Loods 10 are located a few minutes' bike ride from the Duinhuis.
Furthermore, we love Breskens aan Zee (baz) and De Boekanier for the fun playgrounds, Puur for the beautiful interior, and Groede aan Zee for the lovely lounge chairs.
Ruig in Cadzand and, of course, the pavilions in Knokke are also worth a visit.
At several beach pavilions, it is also possible to rent a beach bed and relax wonderfully by the sea.

Mussel village Philippine is also worth a visit if you love culinary hotspots.
CITY TRIPS
Don't feel like a sea breeze for a day?
Visit the historic cities of Bruges or Ghent. The seaside resort of Knokke is also only a 20-minute drive away.
